Company policies:

Explore Up Close, LLC, reserves the right to alter itineraries when absolutely necessary. In such a case, EUC will create equivalent experiences, and otherwise remain true to the spirit of the initial trip description.

General due dates: Return registration forms and deposits as soon as possible to hold space on a trip. For international travel, final payment is usually due 60 days prior to trip departure. For domestic / regional trips, final payment is generally due 30 days prior to trip departure.

Cancellations and refunds: Generally, refunds can be granted prior to the final payment deadline – except in the cases where vendors have required advanced, non-refundable payment, and except for specified non-refundable deposits (paid to Explore Up Close).

Fitness level of trip participants: Generally, the more physically fit you are, the more you will thrive on an EUC trip, and the more you will be able to take advantage of optional activities, including physical activities. Participants should be able to climb at least a small number of stairs and walk distances of approximately 100 yards (or a city block). In many cases, participants should be able to enter a van or mini-van and maneuver themselves onto a rear row of seats. Some EUC trips are designed to be “fitness trips” and require a good physical condition to participate. These trips are described as “hiking” or “cycling” or listed under “active / adventure.”
