Old Places On The Florida Trail
This is our annual trek south during the Carolina winter. What’s not to love? The mosquitos are hibernating…sunscreen is optional… and the shrimpies taste just fine. We’ll migrate (slowly) between a quaint Georgia outback lodge (one night) and two exquisite inns (2 nights each), immersing ourselves in St. Augustine’s stunning preservation, and private touring around St. Mary’s and Cumberland Island, Georgia.
• Beautiful backroads drives, steeped in Americana and good surprises
• St. Augustine’s layers of architecture, including up close encounters with Flagler College and the Lightner Museum
• Local guides telling local stories about Cumberland Island’s Plum Orchard Mansion, and St. Mary’s quaint historic district
• Our signature small group experience, at the perfect relaxed pace
$2,170 / person (double occupancy; single supplement, $525)
